About the team
We're an 18-person team with a small but growing GTM function. You'd be the first dedicated sales hire, owning the full cycle from outbound to close across mid-market fleet operators.
What you'll do
Own the full sales cycle — outbound prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close
Build and refine our sales playbook from scratch — messaging, objection handling, and pipeline structure
Talk to fleet operators and dispatchers daily to understand how they buy and what moves them
Work closely with the founders on pricing conversations, enterprise deals, and strategic accounts
Feed customer insights directly into product — you'll have a real seat at the table here
Who you are
3–6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into operations, logistics, or similar industries
Track record of closing mid-market deals ($20K–$100K ACV) with short-to-mid length sales cycles
Comfortable selling to non-technical buyers — fleet owners, operations directors, and dispatchers
Strong written and verbal communicator — you can run a sharp demo and write a cold email that gets a reply
Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity — you build the process, you don't wait for one

$90,000 – $120,000 USD
1%–2% equity, 4-year vest with 1-year cliff

The interview proces
Step 1: Application review — we respond to every applicant within 48 hours.
Step 2: Intro call — 30 minutes — chat with a founder about your background, what you've sold, and what you're looking for. We'll tell you exactly where we are as a company
Step 3: Sales exercise — 1 hour — a short, realistic scenario based on an actual Haulix prospect conversation. We share the brief in advance and pay $100 for your time regardless of outcome
Step 4: Final conversation — 45 minutes — meet one more team member. We'll talk comp, territory, and what the first 90 days actually look like
Step 5: Offer — if it's a yes, you'll have an offer within 24 hours of your final call
Why join us

You won't be selling software to people who don't need it. You'll be selling a dispatcher's workload — reduced — to people who've been drowning in it for years. That's a different conversation, and it's one of the most satisfying ones in B2B sales.
