About the team
We're an 18-person team with zero dedicated marketing. You'd be our first growth hire, owning everything from acquisition to activation across inbound, content, and paid channels.
What you'll do
Build and own our growth engine from scratch — SEO, content, paid, email, and partnership channels
Define and track the metrics that matter — CAC, activation rate, time-to-value, and expansion revenue
Work directly with founders on positioning, messaging, and how we show up in the market
Run experiments fast — launch, measure, kill or scale, repeat. No committees, no approval chains
Turn customer stories and product wins into content that reaches the operators we're trying to serve
Who you are
4–7 years of growth or marketing experience at a B2B SaaS startup, ideally in a 0-to-1 environment
Hands-on with the tools — you've run paid campaigns, built email sequences, and tracked attribution yourself
Strong analytical instinct — you make decisions from data, not gut feeling or industry convention
Comfortable writing — you can draft a cold email, a landing page headline, and a LinkedIn post that doesn't sound like a press release
Self-directed with high ownership — you don't need a brief to start and you don't need permission to ship

$100,000 – $120,000 USD salary
1%–2% equity, 4-year vest with 1-year cliff

The interview proces
Step 1: Application review — we respond to every applicant within 48 hours.
Step 2: Intro call — 30 minutes — chat with a founder about your background, what channels you've owned, and what you're looking for.
Step 3: Growth exercise — 2–3 hours — a focused brief based on a real Haulix growth challenge. We share it in advance, keep it scoped, and pay $100 for your time regardless of outcome
Step 4: Final conversation — 45 minutes — meet one more team member. We'll talk strategy, channels, and what the first 60 days actually look like
Step 5: Offer — if it's a yes, you'll have an offer within 24 hours of your final call
